I will always be a big believer in that nobody is going to do more for you than you will do for yourself.

I’ve been on a quest to get my online business to a certain level since closing my juice bar and there were times I didn’t giving it my all. Just being honest.

Well recently I did a quick consultation with some friends of mine. They have a beautiful photography studio. I suggested they launch a video podcast using the studio as the backdrop.

Not to be podcasters but to promote their brand. It'll grow a deeper connection with their audience and develop another stream of revenue. They have taste and style worth paying for.

I hung up and a few days later I said “I GOTTA TAKE MY OWN DAMN ADVICE.”

So I’m excited to launch the new "Built Different" podcast!

Of course its about business.

But not the typical origin story, motivational, financial literacy talk.

We have enough of that.

The goal is to provide more tactical, insightful blueprints for underdog entrepreneurs. Ideas and steps that you can use by end of the episode or set up the next business day.

I’ll be focus more on Baltimore-based entrepreneurs. We'll see where this experiment takes me.

This is an evolution for me as an entrepreneur and my direction for creating content.

Speaking of content, I’ll be rebranding this newsletter to “Built Different”. Similar business insights from my previous newsletters plus recaps of the pod and lessons from other business owners.

I hope you enjoy.

I’m open to all feedback on this so hit “REPLY” if you have any ideas.
